Lucknow . In the by-elections held in the eight assembly constituencies of Uttar Pradesh, the Congress formed a committee and the BSP has made the election campaign interesting by giving the responsibility of selecting candidates and announcing their names to the sector in-charge. While the BJP is desperate to feed the lotus on all the seats, the opposition parties are vying for themselves in the main contest.
It has been decided that these parties have prepared a roadmap to surround the BJP with different issues. After preparing for the Congress and the announcement of the BSP contesting the election, the BJP is also looking to take advantage of the scattered votes of the opposition. The SP is already churning in the names of the candidates for taking the field.
Usually, the BSP, which does not contest the by-elections, is trying to test its position by making up its mind to field candidates in all the eight seats in the assembly. A BSP leader told that it is necessary to win this election also for the BSP to become number two party in the state. So far SP seats are more than us. Therefore, preparations are being made to fight the by-elections strongly.
The BSP has not contested by-elections before, but the party has changed its strategy since last year. Now the party is trying its luck in the assembly by-election. The by-elections are to be held for Ghatampur of Kanpur, Malhni of Jaunpur, Swar of Rampur, Sadar of Bulandshahr, Tundla of Agra, Deoria Sadar of Deoria, Bangarmau of Unnao and Naugawan Sadat constituency of Amroha. Six out of these eight were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party, while two were won by the Samajwadi Party. The number of eight seats is considered large, so the BSP has made up its mind to field its candidates.
Mayawati is also brainstorming with office-bearers in Delhi these days to review the by-election.
On the other hand, for the past several months, the Congress has opened a continuous front against the government in the state. Congress state president Ajay Kumar Lallu is leading the opposition through constant agitation and arrest. Due to this, showing interest in the by-elections, he has given the message of fighting a strong election against the BJP by taking heavy force to take applications from the contenders for every seat.
Senior political analyst Rajkumar Singh told IANS that the election will definitely be interesting with the arrival of Congress, BSP in the by-election. However, Mukbalah is yet to appear between the BJP and the main opposition party SP. Looking at the past, the BSP has not shown much seriousness in the by-elections. But this time it is showing a lot of power. With the strategy that Mayawati is seeing right now, it seems that she will damage the SP. Will only vote for him.
He said that if we talk about the Congress, then the movement of State President Lallu and Twitter blow of Priyanka are definitely making headlines for the party. But till now there is a lack of workers on the ground. In the past, workers of the Samajwadi Party have taken life to the party everywhere by raising many issues including unemployment. It is too early to say how effective the by-election is.
There is no addition to the booth management of the BJP organization. She fights all elections seriously. This by-election will be a big signal for all the parties for the coming time.
