Patna . In Bihar’s assembly elections to be held this year, the Left parties are preparing to enter the electoral arena by joining the grand alliance of opposition parties to increase their seats. In such a situation, although the leaves are not being opened for seat sharing, preparations have been started in the areas of influence.
According to reliable sources of the Left parties, the leaders of the Left have handed over the list of seats to the RJD, expressing their intention to contest in the assembly constituencies of the 18 districts of the state.
A RJD leader said that two-stage talks have been held with the leaders of the Left parties. However, he also said that the seat will not come in the way of this friendship. Sources in the RJD say that all parties involved in the grand alliance will talk and hand over the list of seats they want, after that the strategy will be finalized by sitting together.
Delegations of the Communist Party of India (CPI), Communist Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and CPI (Male) have discussed the electoral strategy with the RJD.
In the last assembly election, three CPI (ML) MLAs won. In the last election, Male had fielded candidates in 99 seats, CPI in 98 and CPI in 43 seats. Out of these, only three candidates from Male could reach the assembly.
In the 2010 assembly elections, CPI 56, CPI 30 and Male fielded 104 candidates among the Left parties. In that election, these parties got only one seat. On the basis of this experience, the Left party is busy improving its position in the upcoming elections.
CPI (M) state secretary Awadhesh Kumar said, “We hope that the grand alliance will be in sync. The situation will become clear very soon. There will be no clash over the seat. It is the need of the hour to remove JDU and BJP. Fight the election. ”
Here, RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari also says that the leaders of the left party have expressed a desire to join the grand alliance. The Grand Alliance is getting stronger and many parties wish to join it.
Even before this, the CPI and CPI-M have been in alliance with the RJD or Janata Dal, but this will be the first time that the CPI (ML) will also be in this alliance of the RJD.
CPI (ML) state secretary Kunal says that we are also ready to contest elections from the grand alliance. If the RJD is aligned with the Bihar Legislative Assembly, it will be the first election of the Legislative Assembly.
