New Delhi Chief Justice S.A. The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Bobde on Monday approved the proposal to appoint 28 additional judges of the Allahabad High Court as permanent judges. Among those who became permanent judges were Justice Prakash Padiya, Justice Alok Mathur, Justice Pankaj Bhatia, Justice Saurabh Lavania, Justice Vivek Verma, Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh, Justice Piyush Aggarwal, Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamsheri, Justice Jaspreet Singh, Justice Rajeev Singh, Chauhan Manjur. , Justice Karunesh Singh Pawar, Justice Yogendra Kumar Srivastava, Justice Manish Mathur, Justice Rohit Ranjan Agrawal, Justice Ram Krishna Gautam, Justice Umesh Kumar, Justice Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Justice Anil Kumar Navam, Justice Rajendra Kumar IV, Justice Mohammad Faiz Alam Khan, Justice Vikas Kunwar Srivastava, Justice Virendra Kumar Srivastava, Justice Suresh Kumar Gupta, Justice Bellakota Sridevi, Justice Narendra Kumar Johri, Justice Rajveer Singh and Justice Ajit Singh.
The collegium also approved the proposal to appoint five additional judges of the Calcutta High Court as permanent judges.
Those who became permanent judges include M. Nizamuddin, Rathithkar Ghosh, Hiranmay Bhattacharya, Saugat Bhattacharya and Manojit Mandal.
