Criticizing the government’s decision to declare a nationwide bandh, it has been argued that the decision was taken in an arbitrary and irrational manner without proper consultation with experts or state governments, which is unfair.
The petition also cited the migration of migrant workers and daily wage workers to their hometowns, as well as delays in the supply of adequate quantities of PPE kits to prevent health workers’ infection.
