Actually, this virus is constantly mutating i.e. changing itself. The virus goes into the human cell and replicates its own genome. In RNA viruses, it often happens that it is not able to copy its entire genome identically and some part is left. This is called mutation of virus. Mutations make the virus faster by itself, but after more mutations it can become weak and the infection is not viable.

According to the report, Professor Bashetti, head of the communicable disease department at the San Materno General Hospital in Geneva, said that in March and April the virus had a lion-like effect in the jungle, but now it has become a full-fledged cat. Now even the 80 to 90 year olds are recovering without ventilator. Earlier these patients used to die in two to three days. The virus is no longer causing much damage to the lungs due to mutations.

At the same time, Dr. Madan Mohan Godbole, former professor in the Department of Molecular Medicine and Biotechnology of Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, says that the corona virus is now becoming weaker. Even though the number of infected will increase, the number of deaths will be less. He explained that there are two types of viruses while discussing the evolution theory. One which is very dangerous and the other which is weak. Dangerous viruses spread to fewer people, while weaker viruses spread faster.

In this way, the fight for survival between the two viruses starts and the weak virus wins. After that only the weak virus survives. More people of the vulnerable virus are infected, but there is less risk. After a few days, the human body also prepares itself to fight the virus. On the basis of this principle, Godbole believes that the corona virus is now getting weaker and that the incidence of infection will be faster, but the number of deaths will be less.
