New Delhi: Former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot said today that I am happy that Congress President and former President Rahul Gandhi discussed in detail. We put forward the views of fellow legislators. I have been assured that a three-member committee will resolve all these issues soon. These were theoretical issues. He further said that for a long time I wanted to raise some issues. It has been saying from the beginning that this fight was on ideals. I always thought that it was necessary to raise these issues in the interest of the party.
The Congress will constitute a three-member committee to look into the complaint of Rajasthan Congress rebel Sachin Pilot. The pilot met Rahul Gandhi on Monday, after which the decision has been taken. The party said that the two leaders held a clear, open and decisive discussion.
Party General Secretary (Organization) K.K. C. Venugopal said in a statement, “After this meeting, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has decided that a three-member committee to address the issues raised by the All India Congress Committee Pilot and other angry legislators and reach a fair resolution Will constitute. ”
He said, “Sachin Pilot met Rahul Gandhi and made him aware of his concerns in detail. There was a clear, open and decisive dialogue between the two.”
According to him, Pilot has committed to work in the interests of the Congress Party and the Congress Government in Rajasthan.
Amid efforts to bring Rajasthan’s rebel Congress leader Sachin Pilot and his supporters into the party, the angry leader met Rahul Gandhi at his residence on Monday.
According to sources, after the pilot met Rahul Gandhi at his residence, the two had another meeting in the presence of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi reached the residence of Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the party, where the three met and discussed.
Sources say that the Congress has assured Pilot that his complaints about Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and the politics of the state will be taken cognizance and his previous position will be restored to the Deputy Chief Minister and the state party chief.
Congress leaders claimed that the pilot camp had approached top leaders of the party including Ahmed Patel and Rahul Gandhi has also been taken into confidence on the recent developments and has supported the move.
The Congress had dismissed Pilot as Deputy Chief Minister and Rajasthan Congress President after showing rebellious attitude.
On Sunday night, a meeting of Congress MLAs of the Gehlot camp held at a hotel in Jaisalmer brought mixed views about the withdrawal of the rebels into the party. Some legislators asked the rebel camp leaders to withdraw, while some were not in favor of it.
