The order signed by the District Magistrate reads, “In exercise of the powers vested in me on the basis of Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, I shall on July 29 take up photography of any property of Air Force Station Ambala with immediate effect. Restrict till evening. ”
A defense ministry statement said the formal ceremony of Rafale’s occupation would be planned later. The statement further said, the need of the hour today (July 29) is to ensure that the pilot and the ground crew join together for the entire airforce operation at the earliest. It is in the interest of the country, the statement said. It includes the Indian Air Force and the crew and is currently kept out of the media’s glare. He said, it is necessary that along with the fighters, the support teams also do their work in a fast and safe manner, for this, the station officers need to focus their attention in the mission.
