new Delhi . The Delhi Child Rights Protection Commission (DCPCR) along with the North-East District Task Force rescued nine children from Mustafabad area on Monday, who were working in many junk shops in unhealthy and dirty places without masks.
The Commission has undertaken this fourth campaign during the epidemic to save child workers.
The children were rescued and provided with masks, sanitizers, food and water. The DCPCR and Delhi Police also sealed seven shops in the process.
These children were medically examined by the Chief District Medical Officer, including the Kovid-19 test.
All of them were presented before the Child Welfare Committee and now they will be kept in Mukti Ashram located in Burari. His depositions are recorded in the Sub-Divisional Office and legal procedure will be followed.
