Bhopal: Lockdown has been imposed for 10 days in Bhopal. This rule will be implemented from 24 July. Earlier, in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal, the district administration had imposed a lockdown in some areas of the city for three days from eight o’clock on Tuesday night in view of the fast growing corona virus infection patients in the last few days. Sub Divisional Magistrate Jamil Khan has served within the boundaries of the Sub Division at Kotwali, Mangalwara and Hanumanganj at New Itwara Road, Jumerati, Kazipura, Kumharpura, Lakherapura, Khazanchi Gali, Loha Bazaar, Noor Mahal Road, Ibrahimpura, Chowk Jain Temple, Gurjarapura and Silavatpura area. On 21 July night from 8:00 to 24 July at 8:00, restrictive orders for lockdown were issued.
Apart from these, three days of lockdown was said in some areas of Bagsevania and some areas under Kamalnagar police. In this, the movement of ordinary citizens is completely banned. Institutions, shops, offices and all business activities will be prohibited in barricading places. No person in the relevant area will be able to leave unnecessarily except for the Medical Emergency Service.
The person violating the order will be punished under section 188. At the same time, Bhopal Collector and District Magistrate Avinash Lavania made a partial amendment to the order issued earlier in the District District, using the powers conferred in Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code, in all revenue limits of the entire Bhopal district from July 21. The curfew was announced from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm until further orders.
It is noteworthy that in the order issued earlier, the night curfew was fixed from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. So far, 4,512 people have been found infected with the corona virus in Bhopal district. Of these, 142 people have died.
