Islamabad The process of checking and verifying the licenses of Pakistani pilots is going on. The country’s aviation department has suspended 68 more pilots due to suspicious licenses, taking the number of suspended pilots to 161. According to the news, out of 262 suspected license holders, 28 pilots have already been revoked, while 161 pilots have been suspended.
The decision regarding the remaining 73 pilots is likely to take place within the next two days as the aviation department says it is taking all the decisions after a ‘double check’.
The government will present a report before the Supreme Court on measures being taken to protect air passengers after aviation minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan announced that 262 Pakistani pilots’ licenses were suspected in the National Assembly.
However, contrary to the minister’s claim, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority recently declared that all commercial / airline transport pilot licenses (CPL / ATPL) are genuine and validly issued and none of the pilot licenses are bogus. Was.
