Lucknow. Three police stations in Kanpur to catch historyheater crook Vikas Dubey could not protect themselves and eight police personnel including CO, SO were martyred. Five policemen, a home guard and a private driver of an SO were injured in the shooting. The condition of the home guard is serious in this. Shaheed CO Bilhore Devendra Mishra was very courageous during the encounter in Kanpur. He had decided to travel from Constable to CO on the strength of his courage. The department rewarded his courage as an out-of-turn promotion and made him the inspector in charge. About two years ago, he was promoted to become a jurisdiction officer. His last talk in the family was with twin brother Rajiv Mishra. Expressing concern over the Corona transition period, he had asked the well-being of all the family members and promised to come home as soon as the situation was normal.

When Jitendra Pal was admitted to the police, the kinsfolk had many hopes from him.
