You all must remember the ‘slap incident’ between Harbhajan Singh and S. Sreesanth in IPL. At that time, this incident had made a lot of headlines. Now a similar case has happened across the border. In a match of Pakistan Super League, a player ‘slapped’ another player, the video of which is going viral very fast.
Actually, on 22 April, a match was going on between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars. At some point in the middle of the match, a ‘slap incident’ happened. Although the player did not do it knowingly, but the mistake was such that two players of Multan Sultans went viral on social media.
These two players are Ubaid Shah and Usman Khan. Ubaid Shah took the wicket of Sam Billings on the last ball of the 15th over of Lahore Qalandars’ innings. In the process of celebrating, Ubaid Shah went to give a high-five to wicketkeeper Usman Khan. But he could not guess it correctly and he slapped him directly. In this incident, Usman Khan suffered minor injuries and fell on the ground.
However, even after getting injured, Usman Shah did not stop playing and continued wicketkeeping. He also caught a catch in the match after that incident. Talking about Obaid Shah, he took 3 wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs in the match, in which Sam Billings was his last victim.
