Kanpur Dehat. Four people riding a bike lost control and collided with an overloaded dumper and three people including a mother and daughter lost their lives. A young man was seriously injured and has been referred to Kanpur.
The woman had come to her maternal home with her daughter after the death of her cousin and this accident happened while returning to Rura station. SP, CO and police station in-charge reached the spot and restored the disrupted traffic. State Minister Pratibha Shukla reached the post-mortem house and consoled the grieving family.
Brother had died three days ago
Sukhveer Singh alias Tilak Singh had died three days ago in Majra Daulatpur village of Rura Madauli village. On this, his 36-year-old cousin Adarshshila alias Lalli, a resident of Kannauj Biharipur, came on Sunday to express condolences with her 12-year-old daughter Jahnavi.
Both are currently living on rent in Noida and had to catch a train from Rura station on Monday. On this, Aadarshshila left home on a bike with her 18-year-old nephew Raunak alias Banku and 18-year-old Sudhir for the railway station on Monday morning.
There were four people riding on a bike. They had reached near Karikalwari village on Shivli Rura road when suddenly the bike went out of control and collided with an overloaded gravel dumper coming from the front.
This led to mother-daughter and Raunak alias Banku dying on the spot, while Sudhir was badly injured and started writhing in pain. CO Priya Singh and SHO Janardan Pratap Singh sent him to the hospital in an ambulance from where his relatives took him to Kanpur.
At the same time, after the accident, the speed of the vehicles stopped, after which the police took the vehicles one by one. SP BBGTS Murti also reached and took information. SP said that a case will be filed on the complaint. The dumper has been seized, the driver is being traced.

Villagers had also stopped them on the way as four people were sitting on the bike. Villagers said that Jhanvi was sitting at the back and while going it seemed that she might fall down, so they warned her, but those people did not listen and went ahead.
Families in bad condition
There was chaos in Daulatpur village due to three deaths together. On one hand where there was already grief due to the death and relatives had gathered, three more people lost their lives. The SHO said that the bodies of mother and daughter have been taken to Kannauj by their relatives, policemen have also been sent along with them.
