In a village of Khandauli police station area, on Friday, when the woman protested against playing DJ at high volume, her brother-in-law, sister-in-law and sons stripped her naked and beat her with belts. When the woman reached the police station, the police asked her to lodge a complaint at the police post.
On the second day, Saturday, the woman was once again stripped and beaten. Even after more than 24 hours, the police did not register a report. The case could be registered on Saturday night when the matter came to the media. On Saturday, the nude video of the woman was also broadcast on the internet media.
There was a dispute over playing DJ at high volume
There was a festive atmosphere in the village on Holi. The woman’s brother-in-law’s sons were playing DJ in the evening. The woman told that at around 5:30 in the evening, she reached the cattle shed to milk the buffaloes. The buffaloes started vomiting due to the loud sound of the DJ. On this, the woman sent her son to stop the DJ for some time.
It is alleged that when the victim’s son was asked to stop the DJ, the brother-in-law’s two sons beat him. When the woman protested, one of the brother-in-law’s sons dragged the woman standing at the door by her hair to his door. It is alleged that the brother-in-law, sister-in-law and their two sons tore the clothes of the victim and beat her with belts and sticks after stripping her naked.
The victim alleged that she was chased away from the police station
It is alleged that on the complaint, Agra PRV police reached the spot, but returned without taking any action. The victim says that she reached Khandauli police station, but instead of registering a case, she was sent to Mudhi Chowki. Here also the policemen did not take any action. After this, the woman returned home. She went to the police station once again at around 3 pm on Saturday afternoon, even then her case was not registered.
The woman says that on Saturday morning at 10 am, the above accused again stripped the woman and beat her. After the matter came in the media, the police registered a case late on Saturday night.
