Barabanki. Information of bomb in Ayodhya Cantt-Delhi Express Train (4205) created panic at the station. Railway administration was shocked as information about bomb was written on the wall of the toilet of S8 coach of the train.
Railway Protection Force, Government Railway Police, City Kotwali Police, Army’s bomb disposal squad and dog squad reached the spot and started intensive search after disembarking the passengers. The train reached the station at 7 pm and could leave at 9.25 pm. No suspicious object was found during this time.
The express train going from Ayodhya Cantt to Delhi left Ayodhya at 5.35 pm. As soon as it reached Barabanki station, it was written on the wall of the toilet of S8 coach of the train that this train will be blown up with a bomb at Lucknow Charbagh Railway Station. It was also written that this message should not be considered fake.
The bomb has been kept in a bag. At the end of the message was written Abdul Ansari Moradabad. Acting on the information of the control room, the I Force stopped the train at platform number one. The passengers were disembarked. The S5 and S6 bogies of the train were thoroughly searched.
After about two and a half hours, the train could be sent to its destination after the search. Passengers were scared and terrified: Sudha Gaur, who was travelling from Ayodhya, said that the train had left Ayodhya on time. When the train was suddenly stopped at Barabanki station, she came to know that it was stopped due to information about a bomb. Out of fear, she got off the train with her family.
Passengers Ajay Kumar and Mangala Yadav said that they had to go to Delhi for some urgent work, but suddenly they got scared with the information about a bomb. A large number of passengers including Mohd. Ahad and Reshma Bano, who were travelling from Ayodhya, were seen worried with the information about the bomb.
Disabled passengers faced problems
Disabled Razzaq, who was travelling in S8, was somehow brought down from the train by the passengers travelling with him. Another disabled passenger was also able to get off the train with the help of his family members. Station Superintendent in charge Piyush Verma said that after a thorough search, the train was sent off at 9.25 pm. He said that no train was affected during this time. Other trains were dispatched from platform number two.

Passengers were troubled by hunger and thirst due to the sudden stoppage of the train. Some passengers thought it better to get off the train and go by bus. Passenger Sudhakar said that he had to go outside the premises as water bottles were not available at the station. Food was also taken here. Police officers including GRP in-charge Jai Narayan, RPF in-charge SK Singh kept conducting searches.
