Budget 2025: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the Union Budget. With this, she made a record of presenting the 8th consecutive budget. 1- UP got a big budget
In Budget 2025, 1.5 lakh crores have been given to the states for development. The maximum money in this budget has been given to Uttar Pradesh.
2- Welfare scheme for Dalit women of UP
A scheme for the welfare of Dalit women will be run. Let us tell you that the maximum number of Dalits are in UP. That is, UP will benefit a lot from this scheme. The population of the state is about 25 crores. At present, there are 75 districts in the state. In this large population, about 22 percent of the population is from Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe.
3- UDAN Scheme (UDAN 3.0 in UP)
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the third phase of the UDAN scheme. 120 new cities will be added to it. With this, 4 crore passengers will be able to take advantage of cheap air travel. 24 small airports in UP are connected with the UDAN scheme. These include Kanpur, Kushinagar, Aligarh, Chitrakoot, Shravasti, Varanasi etc.
4- Seats will increase in IITs
In the budget, the Finance Minister announced that ITI seats will be increased. There are a total of 3 IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) in Uttar Pradesh:
1. IIT Kanpur
2. IIT Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU), Varanasi
3. IIT Lucknow
5- 500 crore budget for AI education
Nirmala Sitharaman also made big announcements for the students in the budget. She said that 6500 seats will be increased in IIT. 3 AI centers will be opened. Apart from this, 7500 seats will be increased in medical in 5 years.
6- Insurance scheme launched for gig workers
In the Union Budget, insurance scheme launched for one crore gig workers (delivery agents, cab drivers etc.) of the country. By registering in the E-shram portal, they will also get the benefit of health cover. They will also be given the benefit of social security like PF. About 18 lakh gig workers in UP will get its benefit.
7- Primary and secondary schools will be connected to the internet
Primary and secondary schools will be connected to the internet. The number of primary and secondary schools is highest in UP. There are a total of 4 lakh 50 thousand basic schools in UP
8- Primary health centers will be connected to the internet
Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of primary health centers. All primary health centers will be connected to the internet. The number of primary health centers in Uttar Pradesh is 2,923. People get accessible, affordable, and available health services at these centers.
9- Benefit to 2.25 crore farmers in UP
More than 7 crore farmers of the country, animal husbandry and fish farmers will now be able to get more loan through Kisan Credit Card. In the new scheme, the loan limit is being increased from three lakh to five lakh rupees. There are 2.25 crore farmers in UP, so they will get the maximum benefit.
10- Benefit to leather traders of Agra-Kanpur
An incentive scheme has been launched for the footwear and leather sector. This will directly benefit the workers of big leather cities like Kanpur and Agra. The leather industry is facing a bad crisis due to decrease in exports. 22 lakh jobs and turnover of 4 lakh crores and 1.1 lakh crores will be exported. 200 day care medical centers will be built in the budget. In his budget, the Finance Minister announced the opening of 200 day care medical centers across the country. Most of these will open in UP.
