Mahakumbh Nagar. The bathing of saints, devotees, Kalpvasis, bathers and householders filled with faith in the holy confluence of life-giving Ganga, Shyamal Yamuna and invisible Saraswati is creating new records. More than seven crore people have taken a holy dip at Sangam and other ghats so far in just six days between 11th and 16th January. It is estimated that more than 45 crore people will take a holy dip in Mahakumbh this time.
On 11th January around 45 lakh people took a bath while on 12th January a record of 65 lakh people taking a bath was set. In this way, just two days before Mahakumbh, a record of more than one crore people took a bath. On the first day of Mahakumbh, on Paush Purnima Snan Parv, 1.70 crore people took a bath and created a record. The next day on the occasion of Makar Sankranti Amrit Snan, 3.50 crore people took a dip in Sangam. In this way, more than 5.20 crore people took a holy dip in the first two days of Maha Kumbh.
Apart from this, on January 15, on the third day of Maha Kumbh, 40 lakh people took a bath. On Thursday also, more than 30 lakh people took a holy bath in Sangam and attained virtue. After bathing, devotees from Prayagraj are also reaching Shringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Varanasi, Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, Naimisharanya, Ayodhya. Local employment is also getting a big boost by reaching these areas. On January 13, 14 and 15, devotees reached Shringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Varanasi, Maa Vindhyavasini Dham, Naimisharanya and Ayodhya for darshan and worship. In three days, about 10 lakh devotees visited Ayodhya, 7.41 lakh in Kashi Vishwanath temple, 5 lakh in Vindhyavasini Dham and more than one lakh devotees visited Naimisharanya Dham Sitapur.
Maha Kumbh is giving the message of unity
This Maha Kumbh is giving a big message of unity, harmony and humanity to the whole world. There is no bondage of caste, sect or untouchability. Apart from this, in the food distribution going on in Annakshetra, everyone, rich or poor, takes food prasad in the same row. There is no difference of caste and religion.
Economy along with faith
Mahakumbh is strengthening the economy of the state and the country along with faith. Religious tourism has also got a boost. Devotees and tourists from other states and abroad coming to Maha Kumbh are also going to Ayodhya, Varanasi, Naimisharanya, Chitrakoot, Vindhyachal and Mathura. This is benefiting the tour and travels, hotel and restaurant sector along with the railways and transport corporation. More than 7.41 lakh devotees reached Kashi Vishwanath in three days. More than 7.41 lakh devotees visited Kashi Vishwanath temple in three days. 2.19 lakh devotees arrived here on 13 January, 2.31 lakh on 14 January and more than 2.90 lakh on 15 January.
5 lakh devotees visited Vindhyavasini Dham and more than one lakh devotees visited Naimisharanya Dham. A continuous stream of devotees is reaching Ayodhya from Prayagraj in Ramnagari. The entire city has been filled with Ram due to the faith of the devotees who reached Ayodhya chanting Jai Shri Ram. On the instructions of CM Yogi Adityanath, the district administration is making all the arrangements for the visitors. Nearly more than 10 lakh devotees have reached Ayodhya in three days.
