Kanpur. The car of former MLA Irfan Solanki’s mother Khursheeda Begum, who was going to meet him in Maharajganj jail, met with an accident in Basti. The car collided with a truck moving ahead. Apart from the former MLA’s mother, his two daughters Zara and Jabiya were also injured in the accident. However, they have suffered minor injuries, while Khursheeda Begum has suffered severe head injuries. The entire family has returned to Kanpur.
The truck had suddenly applied brakes
After his arrest in the arson case, former MLA Irfan Solanki was transferred to Maharajganj jail on administrative grounds. He has been in Maharajganj jail for about two and a half years.
Irfan Solanki’s younger brother Arshad Solanki said that on Monday his mother Khursheeda Begum was going to Maharajganj to meet her father along with her two nieces Zara and Jabiya. All three were in an i-10 car.
The truck moving ahead suddenly applied brakes near Khalilabad in Basti. Due to this the car driver could not control the car and the car collided with the truck from behind. In the accident the car driver was saved because the airbag opened but the three passengers sitting in the back seat Khurshida Begal, Zara and Jabiya were injured.
All three were immediately taken to the district hospital. Arshad told that Amma has got 17 stitches on her head. Zara has got 3 stitches while Jabiya has got a minor injury. All three have returned. All are out of danger.
