Tapobhoomi decorated like a bride, Deepdan Mela from tomorrow
Jagran correspondent, Chitrakoot. Only one day is left for the five-day Deepdan Mela to be held on Diwali Amavasya. This fair will be held from 29 October to 2 November. The administration is finalizing its preparations. Officials are also camping for it. The Commissioner and DIG are also reviewing the fair area and looking at the shortcomings in the preparations. About 30 lakh devotees are expected to come to this fair. Chitrakoot Dham Tirtha Vikas Parishad and Nagar Palika Parishad Chitrakoot Dham Karvi have decorated Tapobhoomi like a bride.
Every corner of Tapobhoomi has blossomed with attractive lights and floral decorations. Intelligent LED lighting gates have been installed here. Extensive decoration has been done in 13 hot spot areas of the pilgrimage area including Ramayana Mela Sthal, Ram Ghat, Railway Station. Attractive colorful LED lights have been installed along with Dasa cloth and flower strings.
LED lighting gates have been made at 13 places. These gates are 40 feet high and 30 feet wide. Events related to the life of Lord Shri Ram have been showcased in them. The cover up region of the gates has been decorated with Dasa cloth, flower garlands and cutouts of Lord Shri Ram.
The main gate has been beautifully decorated with a bow shape and a cutout of Lord Shri Ram. The venue has been made attractive with the help of LED screens, tables and many props.
