Shilpa Shinde has accused a famous film producer of sexual harassment 26 years ago. This case is from the time when Shilpa was entering the industry and this incident had a big impact on her life.
Shilpa Shinde accused the film producer
Actress Shilpa, who is seen in Rohit Shetty’s show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, gave an interview. In this, she was talking about the struggles related to her life. Then Shilpa revealed that a very painful incident had happened to her. Shilpa Shinde told how a famous Hindi film producer sexually harassed her on the pretext of audition.
Asked to wear short clothes – Shilpa
The 46-year-old actress shared her bitter experience and said, ‘This incident is around the year 1998-99. At that time I was very innocent and a filmmaker told me that I would have to wear short clothes for a particular scene. I told him that I was feeling uncomfortable wearing those clothes. But the answer I got from the front was that I would have to wear the same clothes to look hot.’
Talking further, Shilpa told that the filmmaker crossed his limits during the shooting of the scene. According to the actress, he said that I am your boss, you seduce me. Shilpa said that ‘When I saw that he was ignoring my disagreement and forcing me, I pushed him and ran out of there’.
Both met again after years
After this incident, Shilpa Shinde told that after years she met the same filmmaker once again. This time the filmmaker talked to her lovingly and offered her a role in a film which the actress flatly refused. However, in this case, Shilpa did not reveal the name of the filmmaker.
Shinde further said that this incident did not happen only with me, but many other women in the industry have also had similar experiences. Shilpa said, “These things are common and some people get away with it. Many women face such situations and it happens with many famous personalities as well.”
