Mathura: Amol Pehlwan was shot dead in a panchayat in Paigaon under Shergarh police station area due to an old rivalry. Pehlwan had come out of jail a few days ago. At the same time, he was killed by placing the body on the road along with the family members. After a lot of hard work, the police opened the door and sent the body for post-mortem and started the investigation.
According to the police, in 2021, Paigaon’s Gram Pradhan Ramveer was murdered while performing Parikrama in Kokilavan. In which Amol was made the main accused and was sent to jail. Amol was living in the village after being released on bail from jail a few days ago. It is being told that a panchayat was being held due to an old rivalry. In which Ramveer Pradhan’s son and current Pradhan representative Krishna shot Amol Pehlwan to death due to an altercation.
On the other hand, as soon as the incident was known, a large number of villagers and Amol Pehlwan’s family gathered. They blocked the road by placing the wrestler’s body on the road.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Kumar Pandey said that a person named Amol was shot in Paigaon of Thana Shergarh area. The youth was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead. The SSP said that on Friday afternoon, a panchayat was being held in Paigaon regarding some matter. In which the Pradhan’s son Krishna and Amol were present. Krishna’s father Ramveer was murdered in 2021, in which Amol was the accused. He also went to jail in this case. During the panchayat, there was an altercation between Krishna and Amol over something. Amol’s family alleges that Krishna fired at Amol with his gun, due to which he was seriously injured. The family took Amol to the hospital, where the doctor declared him dead.
The SSP said that the spot was inspected as soon as the information was received. At the same time, the person who is accused has been shot on the shoulder. The family of the deceased Amol says that he himself shot himself on his shoulder to make a cross case. The case has been registered on the basis of the complaint received from Amol’s family. Meanwhile, the main accused Krishna is undergoing treatment in police custody. Whoever is found guilty in this case, action will be taken against them.
