Kannauj. A new twist has come to the fore in the case of former block chief Nawab Singh Yadav who was sent to jail on charges of attempting to rape a teenager. The victim’s aunt, who was present at the scene, has accused the big leaders of the SP party of framing Nawab Singh Yadav in a press conference. She said that when the time comes, everyone’s names will be revealed.
The aunt was present on the spot
A teenager living in a village in Tirwa Kotwali area had called 112 late on Sunday night and complained accusing former block chief Nawab Singh of attempting to rape her in Chaudhary Chandan Singh College.
The police, who arrived on the information, arrested Nawab Singh Yadav. The police sent him to jail after presenting him in the court. The victim’s aunt was also present on the spot with her.
The aunt said that many big leaders of the SP are involved in framing Nawab Singh Yadav. She said that when the time comes, she will reveal the names of everyone involved in this. The aunt alleged that the police is not saying what the girl is saying.
Aunt knows him for eight to nine years
Bua told that on the night of 11th August she was coming from Lucknow with her niece. It was around 10:30 pm. Nawab Singh’s mother had passed away, so she could not meet him. She went to Degree College to meet him. On the phone, he had said that he will drop her home in his car. She told that she knows Nawab Singh Yadav for around eight-nine years and talks to him too.
Niece took the phone saying she wanted to talk to her mother
Victim’s aunt told that she had taken her niece along because it was night. She had gone to wash her hands and feet in the bathroom. On returning, the niece was crying. When she was asked the reason for crying, she told that she was molested and her top was removed, on which she calmed her niece down.
She said that the niece took her mobile phone saying she wanted to talk to her mother. She does not know how she called the police. She was sitting and talking when the police arrived.
Some leaders had talked to her four months ago
Bua said that many big leaders of SP are involved in trapping Nawab Singh Yadav. Big leaders of the district were talked to about four months ago. However, she did not answer what was discussed. She kept quiet saying that she would reveal the names when the time comes.
