The Yogi government has taken strict action regarding the incident of Ram Path sinking during rain in Ayodhya. The Yogi government has suspended three engineers of the Public Works Department. The 13-km-long Rampath from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat had cave-ins at several places. After that, the road was repaired by adding soil and sand, but the Rampath again caved in during the rain on Wednesday. After that, the Public Works Department of UP took action and suspended three engineers of the department.
After the collapse of Rampath in Ayodhya, this action has been taken against the engineers of the Public Works Department on the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the engineers have been suspended. An investigation has been started against the concerned Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer. Instructions have been given to submit the investigation report soon in this regard.

Roads collapsed at many places on the 13 km long Rampath from Sahadatganj to Naya Ghat, although an attempt was made to fill the potholes with sand in a hurry, but despite that potholes are still being formed at different places. According to sources in the Public Works Department, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was very angry after the collapse of Rampath. After that the Superintendent Engineer of Ayodhya was summoned.
Flaws revealed in the preliminary report
On the basis of his report, an order has been given to suspend the Executive Engineer and the Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer working under him. Till the investigation is completed, everyone has been attached to the Public Works Department headquarters.
After the incident of Rampath collapse, the Public Works Department had conducted a preliminary investigation. This preliminary investigation has revealed that there were many flaws in the quality of the underground sewer line laid by the Jal Nigam. The way the work was carried out here has led to underground leakages and during the rains the roads have started to cave in at many places.
