Aligarh. Tension has arisen after a youth who entered the house of a cloth merchant in Mohalla Rangrejan Mamu Bhanja of Gandhi Park area was beaten to death. Hindus closed Mamu Bhanja market in protest against the arrest of four people by the police.
The traders said that the police have arrested the traders in a wrong manner. On the other hand, the body of the deceased youth was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem. In view of the tension, police force has been deployed in Uparkot, Sabzi Mandi market area.
Stones thrown in front of police
When the body of the deceased was brought on Wednesday morning, a large police force was deployed due to the fear of ruckus and chaos. During this, stones were pelted at Uparkot. It is alleged that some youths have thrown stones. The police chased them away from the spot. The stones have also been removed. Someone has thrown stones at the mosque in Hande Wali Gali of Madar Gate. The police is searching for him.
Posters of migration were put up
After the police arrested the traders, the traders have also put up posters of migration on the houses and shops behind Mamu Bhanja, Radha Mohan temple.

Late on Tuesday night, a young man was entering the house of Mukesh Chandra Mittal, resident of Mamu Bhanja Mohalla Rangrejan, through the narrow passage. When he shouted, people caught him. After this, the young man was beaten with sticks on suspicion of theft. A video of the incident was also circulated on the internet media, in which some people are seen beating him. The young man fainted when the police arrived.
The inspector lifted him on his shoulders and took him to the hospital in a car. Apart from the relatives of the deceased, leaders of SP BSP also arrived there. They created a ruckus demanding the arrest of the accused. The police have arrested four people. In protest against this, the traders have now closed the market.
