Jhansi. After the death of Purvanchal’s biggest mafia Mukhtar Ansari on Thursday, high alert has been issued in the entire state. Alert has been issued in Lalitpur including Jhansi. Following the instructions received from the DGP, the sector scheme has been implemented across the range.

Monitoring instructions of these districts
DIG Kalanithi Naithani has given instructions to the Superintendents of Police of Jhansi, Lalitpur and Jalaun for monitoring. Following his instructions, the sector scheme has also been implemented in all three districts including Jhansi. Checking has been started by dividing the police station areas into sectors.
The responsibility has also been handed over to the ASP and CO of the district. Police also checked in the identified hot spot areas before the elections. Police are keeping an eye here also. Instructions have also been given from DGP Headquarters to maintain complete vigilance.
Intensified monitoring of social media
After the death of Mukhtar Ansari, surveillance on social media has also been increased. Facebook, X and other social media are being monitored. Those sending any kind of controversial messages are also being monitored. Social media cells have also been instructed to remain fully active. The officers themselves are monitoring from their own level.
