A surprising case has come to light from Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Here a fight broke out between the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law due to the use of make-up items. The daughter-in-law alleges that the mother-in-law often applies her make-up and roams around the house dressed up. Besides, husbands also start drinking and beating each other. The matter escalated so much that the police had to provide counseling to both the families but no solution has been found. The daughters-in-law have flatly refused to go back home.
About 8 months ago, two real sisters were married to two brothers of the same house in the police station area of Fatehabad. In this, the younger brother works in a shoe factory, while the elder brother works in laying tiles. Everything went normal for a few days after the marriage, but after a few days, such a crisis arose in the house, which is now being discussed in the entire city.
What was the dispute? Both the sisters have alleged that the husband always comes home drunk. When they asked something, they beat them up, but an even bigger problem arose when the mother-in-law also started harassing them. The elder daughter-in-law has alleged that her mother-in-law steals the makeup items kept in the makeup cabinet. Mother-in-law wears the same make-up items at home and walks around dressed up. Seeing this, the daughter-in-law interrupted her mother-in-law and said that this makeup item is very expensive, which is used when going out and not while staying at home. Then what, as soon as the daughter-in-law started interrupting, the mother-in-law got angry. After this a dispute started in the house. The mother-in-law complained to her son after telling the daughter-in-law one or four.
The husband also believed what the mother said and the dispute escalated, during which the mother and son together beat up both the sisters and threw them out of the house about two months ago. Both the sisters have been living in their maternal home since then.
The matter reached the police station. The whole matter reached the Malpura police station area of Agra, where the police referred both the families to the family counseling center for counselling. Counseling was done for both the families on Sunday 28th January but there was no result. Both the wives have refused to go with their husbands.
Both of them say that this dispute will start again after going home. It is better for both of them to stay at their parents’ home than to live in daily routine. Counselor Dr. Amit Gaur has told about this that efforts were made to convince both the parties but nothing could be done. At present both the families have been called on the next date.
