A fight broke out between two communities over a minor dispute in Unnao district of UP. The dispute escalated so much that even bricks and stones were thrown. Due to this, two people from one side were injured, in which a young man died during treatment. At the same time, after the death of the youth, angry people blocked the Unnao-Kanpur road. As soon as the information was received, officials reached the spot and got the jam cleared.
It is said that one party was asking for donations for the Ram temple, during which there was a dispute with the other party over raising the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. However, Unnao SP Siddharth Meena said that this matter is not religious nor has any such thing been mentioned in the complaint given by the victim’s family. A team has been formed to arrest the accused.
Young man died in hospital
According to the information, a fight broke out over a minor dispute between two communities in Diver locality of Shuklaganj. During this, both sides also threw bricks and stones at each other. Due to this, two people from one side got injured. Injured Vinod was sent to Ursala Hospital in Kanpur for treatment, where he died.
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s brother Durga Shankar alleged that in the morning we were asking for donations for the Shri Ram temple being built in Ayodhya. During this, the people accompanying us raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram, due to which the angry Kale Khan attacked us. The elder brother was injured in this attack and died.
Police busy searching for the accused
At the same time, SP Siddharth Meena said that in this case there was a dispute between two communities over demanding money, due to which there was a fight. Kale Khan was demanding money from Vinod Kashyap, due to which there was a dispute. The SP said that it is being given a religious colour, whereas there is no such thing nor has any such FIR been registered by the victim’s family. Also, a team has been formed to arrest the accused. Every angle is being investigated. Also informed that police force has been deployed on the spot.
