In Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, a polytechnic student committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan. The girl who committed suicide was a first year IT student at Rajiki Women’s Polytechnic. Police said that the deceased student was a resident of Kanpur. A suicide note was also found near the deceased student. The matter of love affair has come to light in the suicide note. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Police investigation revealed that the boy with whom the deceased student had an affair. The girl had tried to contact him by making a video call. Also messaged the boy several times. There was no response from the boy on the other side. Due to this, a student of IT First went to the hostel and committed suicide by hanging herself from the fan.
Relatives of the deceased coming from Kanpur
Police officer Dev Ranjan Verma said that the body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. The family members living in Kanpur have also been informed. Police said that the relatives of the deceased are coming to Ballia. Further legal action will be taken only on the basis of the complaint of the family members.
Panic among hostel children after suicide
On this matter, Principal of Women’s Government Polytechnic, Sunil Kumar Sonkar says that he got information about the suicide of the student at night. The children were making noise in the hostel. The people who were in the staff of Polytechnic. Reached the hostel there. Informed the police about the student’s suicide. The district administration was also informed.
The mobile phone found from the deceased student. The police have confiscated it. Besides, the hostel room where the student committed suicide has also been sealed. The hostel ward told that the student lived a normal life.
