A horrifying incident has come to light in Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh, where a husband killed his wife due to not having children even after 20 years of marriage. It is being told that before the murder there was a dispute between the husband and wife. After this the man attacked his wife with a sharp weapon. The accused husband locked the dead body of his wife in the room and fled from there. The police have registered a case against the accused husband and have started searching for him.
Neeraj runs a grocery shop in Ghazipur village under Barla area in Aligarh and his wife Geeta Devi used to do sewing work at home. Both of them were married for more than 20 years, but they did not have any children. It is being told that on the morning of 30th December, husband Neeraj had an argument with his wife Geeta Devi over some issue. The argument escalated so much that it reached a scuffle. After this Neeraj committed murder with a sharp weapon. Neeraj ran away leaving the dead body there.
Neighbors informed the police about the incident. The police reached the spot and broke the lock of the locked room and sent the body of the deceased for post-mortem. On getting information about the incident, many senior police officers reached the spot and inspected the incident. Forensic team was also called to the spot.
During this, the deceased’s brother-in-law Suresh told that he is a resident of Ghazipur village of Barla police station. They don’t have any information about this. When we reached the spot in the morning, we got information about the incident. He told that Neeraj is the youngest among four brothers. Only Neeraj can tell how this incident happened. We reached the spot in the morning in front of the people of the locality only after getting the information on phone.
Regarding this incident, Barla CO Sarjana Singh says that information was received about murder of a woman by her husband under Barla police station area. As soon as the information was received, the local police and forensic team immediately reached the spot, took possession of the body, did Panchnama and sent the body for post-mortem. Prima facie, the reason for the murder could be family feud. The accused husband is being searched. The relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident.
