Both the cases are from the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, when Jayaprada had contested on BJP ticket from Rampur seat but she lost. An FIR for violation of election code of conduct was registered against him in Swar and Kemri police stations. In the FIR lodged in Swar, he is accused of inaugurating a road in Noorpur village on April 19 despite the code of conduct. At the same time, in the FIR lodged at Kemari police station, he is accused of making objectionable remarks in a public meeting organized in Pipliya Mishra village.
In both these cases, the police completed the investigation and filed charge sheets in the court. Now the hearing of the case is going on in the MP-MLA Special Court. In these cases, she was not appearing in the court for the last several dates. After which non-bailable warrants were issued against him.
According to the information, Jayaprada’s lawyer has submitted an application thrice regarding the cancellation of the warrant. Which has been canceled by the court. Recently, the court had issued strict orders to appoint a special police inspector for the arrest of Jayaprada. Following this order of the court, Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi has formed a special team to arrest Jayaprada.
