Lucknow. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is preparing to send a notice to Gauri Khan, wife of film actor Shahrukh Khan. Gauri Khan is the brand ambassador of Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group. ED will interrogate him as to how much money he has taken to become the brand ambassador.
Mumbai resident Kirit Jaswant Shah had alleged that after seeing Gauri Khan’s advertisement, he had bought a flat in the apartment built by Tulsiani Group in Sushant Golf City. In the year 2015, he had also paid Rs 85 lakh to the company, but he was neither given the flat nor the amount was returned. On the complaint of Jaswant, a case of fraud was registered against three people including Gauri Khan at Golf City police station in Lucknow.
The operators of Tulsiani Group are also accused of embezzling about Rs 30 crore from investors and banks. ED is investigating this matter. Now ED will send a notice to Gauri Khan and inquire as to how much money she had taken to become the brand ambassador of the company. It will also be inquired how much share he has in this company.
