Agra. The bus from Mainpuri depot carrying passengers from Mainpuri broke down late at night on Rambagh flyover. The driver and conductor slept inside after parking the bus on its side on the flyover. In the early morning, a speeding dumper hit the bus from behind, resulting in the death of the conductor who was sleeping while the bus driver and the dumper driver were injured. Both were discharged from the hospital after first aid.
The accident occurred at 4:00 am on Rambagh flyover of Agra Delhi Highway. When the bus at Mainpuri depot broke down, driver Anil and conductor 18-year-old Bhola, resident of Bodla, parked the bus on the side and slept in it. They had also put a sign behind the bus.
The dumper coming at high speed from Shahdara hit the bus from behind. Bhole died on the spot. The police sent the dumper driver and the bus driver to SN Medical College Emergency, from where both were sent home after first aid. Inspector Etmaddaula Rajkumar Sharma said that the dumper has been seized. Case will be registered after receiving complaint
