New Delhi. Ashish Mishra, the main accused in the case of murder of eight farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, has got some relief from the Supreme Court. Union Minister Ajay Mishra’s son has been allowed to live in Delhi.
He has been given this relief to take care of his sick mother and daughter. Earlier in the month of January, Ashish Mishra had got interim bail for eight weeks. However, he was not allowed to enter UP.
Bail granted to take care of mother and daughter
Hearing the interim bail plea, a bench of Justices Surya Kant and Dipankar Dutta directed him not to attend any public function or address the media in connection with the case. Let us tell you that his mother is admitted in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi. At the same time, his daughter’s leg is undergoing treatment.

Let us tell you that on October 3, 2021, eight people had died in Tikunia of Lakhimpur Kheri district. Regarding this incident, Congress had targeted the Modi government and the Yogi government in the state.
According to the FIR of UP Police, Ashish Mishra was sitting in the SUV in which four farmers were crushed. In this incident, two drivers driving the SUV were also killed by the farmers. A journalist also died in this violence.
