Kanpur Dehat: The court on Tuesday gave its verdict in Bikru’s gangster case. In which 23 out of 30 accused have been sentenced to ten years imprisonment each. Apart from this, a fine of Rs 50,000 each has also been imposed on all the culprits.
On the other hand, seven accused have been acquitted due to lack of evidence against them. Even before the decision of the case came, a large number of police forces were deployed in and around the court premises.
What happened in Bikru incident
Let us tell you that on July 2, 2020, the Vikas Dubey gang and its other associates fired indiscriminately on the police team that went to raid Bikru village of Chaubepur area of Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. Eight police personnel were killed in the incident, while several were injured.
After this case, the police started swift action against the accused. Who was killed in the encounter of Vikas Dubey STF. In the case, police had taken gangster action against 30 accused, the hearing of which is going on in Additional District and Sessions Court V.
These accused got punishment
The court has arrested 23 accused including Bikaru village’s Hiroo Dubey, Shyamu Bajpai, Jahan Yadav, Dayashankar Agnihotri, Bablu Muslim, Ramu Bajpai, Shashikant Pandey, Shivam Dubey, Govind Saini, Umakant, Shivam Dubey alias Dalal, Shiv Tiwari, District Collector, Ram Singh Yadav. , Jai Bajpai, Dhirendra Kumar, Manish, Suresh, Gopal, Veer Singh, Rahul Pal, Akhilesh alias Shyamji, Chhotu Shukla have been convicted in the gangster case.
Among those acquitted are Guddan, Prashant, Sushil Kumar, Balgovind, Rajendra Mishra, Rameshchandra and Sanjay. The court will give its verdict on the punishment after 3 pm.
