Samajwadi Party MLA Hakim Lal Bind has received death threats from Handia in Prayagraj. He has also registered a case with the police in this matter. In the complaint given to the police, Bind has told that he was allegedly receiving death threats for almost a year, after which he came to Aziz and filed a case with the police.
While complaining to the police in Bind, he has said that a person named Jagat Patel has been calling him and abusing him for the last one year and threatening to kill him. He has said that being a public representative, he cannot ignore this threat for long. According to the FIR lodged on August 19 at Uttaraon police station in Prayagraj, MLA Bind has also handed over the phone recording to the police.
Based on the complaint of the MLA, the police have registered a case against Jagat Patel under sections 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. At present, the police is looking for Jagat Patel and is also conducting raids at various places to nab him. Vehicles vandalized and threatened to kill on arrival in the area
In the complaint given to the police, Bind has said that Jagat Patel has been threatening not to come to his area and to vandalize vehicles. In such a situation, if any untoward incident happens in future, it will be the responsibility of Jagat Patel. The MLA has said that I was constantly ignoring the threats, but there was no change in the behavior of Jagat Patel, after which I am coming to Aziz and complaining to the police.
