Badaun: A husband killed his wife and eight-month-old daughter with an ax over a minor dispute on Wednesday morning in Bhudeli village of Dataganj Kotwali area of Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh. After this, he sat there near the dead body.
The relatives informed the police about the matter. The police arrested the accused. He is being asked the reason. But he is not giving any answer.
Had a dispute with wife
Akhilesh, a resident of Bhudeli village, works as a laborer in Delhi. Due to farming, he had returned to the village a few days ago. Akhilesh had a dispute with his wife Khushbu on Tuesday night. After that he went to the farm.
On Wednesday morning he returned from the farm and asked his sister about his wife. On knowing that his wife was in the room, he too went there. Where a fight started between Akhilesh and his wife Khushbu. Enraged by this, Akhilesh picked up the ax kept nearby and started attacking his wife furiously. Due to which he died.
The baby was in the lap of the wife
Eight-month-old baby girl Srishti was also in Khushboo’s lap. He was also hit by the axe, due to which he also died on the spot. After killing the daughter and wife, the accused Akhilesh sat there. Seeing all this, his sister called the people around and the police.
On information, Dataganj Kotwali in-charge Inspector Saurabh Singh reached the spot along with the police force. At that time Akhilesh was sitting near the dead body. The police arrested him and sent him to the police station. He regretted the death of his daughter, not his wife. Illegal relations are also believed to be behind the incident. SSP Dr. OP Singh also reached on information. He also questioned the accused but he was not saying anything.
