A case has been registered against three people for putting up controversial posters with the intention of spreading communal hatred in some parts of Ghaziabad, UP. Along with this, the Nandgram police has detained an accused for questioning. However, he was later released.
Police said that on Sunday, with the intention of spreading communal hatred, posters were put up at prominent places in the Nandgram police station area, calling for boycott of Muslim traders. After viewing the CCTV footage, the police identified three youths Nitin Chauhan, Brahmanand Pujari and Shekhar Pandit in the case and registered a case against them.
Fake Hindu organization had put up posters
Deputy Commissioner of Police (City Zone) Nipun Agarwal said that the posters have been removed. Office bearers and workers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal staged a peaceful protest on Monday outside Nandgram police station while reciting Hanuman Chalisa. During this, he also demanded the release of detained Sagar Chauhan (Nitin Chauhan’s brother). Police said that the latter posters were allegedly put up by a fake organization named ‘Hindu Samaj Sangathan’.
VHP District President Alok Garg said- Some unknown people had pasted the posters with a fictitious name of Hindu Samaj Sangathan. He said, VHP or Bajrang Dal has nothing to do with it.
Will increase Hindu-Muslim brotherhood
President of Muslim Mahasabha, Imran Khan said that our organization will conduct programs to increase Hindu-Muslim brotherhood across the country, for which we have issued guidelines to the state heads and other office bearers of our organization.
He alleged that such posters with slogans like ‘Buy goods from brother, not from Bhaijaan’ are an attempt to incite communal riots by spreading hatred between the two religions. He said- both the religions are closely related. Muslims are providing services from puncture to mechanic, growing vegetables, fruits and supplying milk.
Mastermind is being searched
Police have booked IPC sections 147 (rioting), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race), 295 (damaging or desecrating a place of worship or any thing), insulting religion in two cases. sacrilege) and 298 (words with intent to intentionally hurt religious feelings).
DCP Aggarwal said that the police will initiate legal action after monitoring the CCTV footage. He said that investigation is going on at some points as to why these posters were put up, where were they printed, who paid for it and who is the mastermind behind it.
Ban on entry of Muslim traders to prevent love jihad

Decree of 50 Panchayats against Muslims in Haryana
