Kanpur: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Prayag Vidya Mandir, a school located in Yashoda Nagar area of Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. A 13-year-old minor high school student stabbed his classmate several times in the throat with a knife after a mutual quarrel. Due to this, a fountain of blood burst from the throat of the student. He was immediately rushed to LLR Hospital, but could not survive.
At the same time, other students and the school management caught the accused student and handed him over to the police. Initial investigation has revealed that a dispute was going on between the two students for four days regarding a girl student. The accused student had brought the knife hidden in the bag. Along with the attacking student, two of his companions have also been made accused in the case.

Neelendra, the 15-year-old only son of Jitendra Tiwari, a resident of Gangapur Colony, an employee of a plywood company, was a 10th standard student. According to eyewitness students, at around 10.30 am, Neelendra had a fight with his classmate. At the time of lunch, another student stabbed Neelendra several times on his neck with a knife hidden in his bag.
The incident caused an uproar in the classroom, with other students running out. Some dared to catch the accused. The school management immediately rushed Neelendra to LLR hospital, till then he was still breathing. Doctors tried their best to save him, but he died after 15 minutes of treatment.
Joint Commissioner of Police Anand Prakash Tiwari said that preliminary investigation revealed that a dispute was going on between the two students for the last four-five days over a girl student. CCTV footage is being searched. At the same time, Police Commissioner BP Jogdand told that the accused student is being interrogated after taking him into custody.

The accused student is basically a resident of Lalapur in Maharajpur. He was studying at his uncle’s house in Gangapur Colony. He has a very short temper. When classmates caught him after the incident, he kept threatening them as well. Said, if you come free, I will treat all of you like Neelendra, this created panic among the students.

Neelendra’s post mortem report is telling the brutality and anger of the accused. Six deep knife wounds have been found on Neelendra’s neck. Neelendra died due to windpipe cut and excessive bleeding.
