Ballia: Information about a major accident is coming out from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh, where a boat carrying 40 people overturned in the Ganga river. More than two dozen people are being reported missing in this accident.
According to the information received, the incident took place at Maldepur Ganga Ghat in Ballia district, the family members were going to attend the Mundan Sanskar. All the people of the family were going in the boat when suddenly the boat overturned. Hearing the screams of the people, the local reached for help. Half a dozen people were taken to the hospital. While two people died.
20 to 25 people are still being reported missing. They were being searched. The local administration has also reached the spot.
