Urai. A truck collided with a wedding procession bus near Mahoi village, bordering Madhya Pradesh, in Madhaugarh police station area around 2.30 pm on Saturday night. The bus overturned after the tremendous collision. The bus driver, conductor and three baratis died on the spot in the accident. While ten people were seriously injured. After getting the information of the accident, the police reached the spot.
The injured were taken to the district hospital by ambulance, later they were referred to the medical college. Pappu and Sunil Pal, two sons of Malu Pal, resident of Madhela village of Rendhar police station area, were married to the daughters of Ramdhani Pal, resident of Dhuta village of Rampura police station area on Saturday. The wedding ceremony took place at Shivshankar Garden in Umri town.
After the wedding rituals were over, the bus was going back to Madhela village after seating around 60 wedding guests. Meanwhile, around 2.30 am, a truck coming from Bhind side hit the bus near village Mahoi on Bhind Marg. The bus was cut in two due to the collision. Part of the roof overturned on the roadside ten feet away. In the incident, bus driver Kallu son of Rambaran, resident of village Antian, Pura police station, Mihauna district, Bhind, conductor Vikas, resident of village Mehda police station Raun, Madhya Pradesh, Barati Raghunandan, Kuldeep and Shiromani residents of village Madhela died on the spot.
Brijendra, Vijay, Lalta Prasad, Veer Singh, Shivshankar, Sundar, residents of village Madhela police station Rendhar and Kallu residents of Luri district Bhind Madhya Pradesh, Ashok residents of Daboh (Madhya Pradesh), Shiv Singh, Mahipal and Kallu residents of Madhela were seriously injured. The injured were taken by ambulance to the district hospital for treatment, later they were referred to the Medical College Jhansi. After the accident, the happiness of marriage turned into mourning. Superintendent of Police Dr. Iraj Raja inspected the spot. He says that how the accident happened is being investigated. A case is being registered against the truck driver.
