In Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh, a constable got married only last month and the wife got angry. When the wife did not pick up the call even after calling several times, the constable wrote a letter directly to the police captain. Told the whole thing clearly and pleaded for a week’s leave. The captain also understood the pain of the constable and immediately approved five days leave and sent him away. This application for leave is now going viral on social media.
The constable posted in this district bordering Nepal has directly talked about the issue instead of making any excuses in the leave application sent to the Additional Superintendent of Police. He has written that he got married just a month back. Due to not getting leave, he has not been able to spend time with his wife. Because of this the wife is angry. On calling, she is either disconnecting the call or handing over to the mother. With this, he has written that while coming home, he had promised his wife that he would definitely come on his nephew’s birthday. But then the holiday crisis is visible. With this, the constable has requested the captain to approve casual leave for seven days.
Captain immediately given five days leave
The captain understood the pain of wife’s displeasure as soon as he saw the application and immediately approved five days leave. Generally, in any district, after the request for leave is received from the captain, the reason for the leave is asked from the concerned, but in this case, the captain did not even understand the need for it and wrote a direct approval and ordered the constable to be sent.
