Farrukhabad. Due to dense fog, the roadways bus of Sahibabad depot going to Delhi carrying passengers from Farrukhabad collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction near village Nagla Jogha on Nawabganj Manjhana road on Sunday morning. The collision was so tremendous that both the vehicles were blown away.
In the accident, the roadways bus driver Lakhan Kumar Sharma, a resident of village Mahmudpur Jamalpur under Kol Panethi police station of Aligarh district, jumped and fell on the road about five meters away. Due to which he died on the spot. The body of the truck driver got stuck in the truck itself. Efforts are being made to identify the truck driver.
In the horrific road accident, the bus operator Ajay Kumar, a resident of Bidait village of Jahanganj police station, Farrukhabad, and Rakesh, a resident of Badaula, Farrukhabad resident Neelam’s wife Amit Kumar and their 17-year-old sons Arpit and Akhilesh were injured. The injured were sent to CHC by ambulance. Dr. Vaibhav Yadav referred the injured to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Police Station President Jai Prakash Sharma reached the spot along with the police force and started the investigation.
