Meerut. In Meerut, a case of a retired soldier demanding extortion of twenty lakh rupees from his fellow retired soldier has come to light. On the complaint of the victim, a case was registered at Pallavapuram police station for demanding extortion. After which the accused was arrested by the police from Kankarkheda Highway-58. Police is probing the whole matter.
This is the case
According to Pallavapuram police, retired soldier Deepak son Satendra resident of Baghpat who currently lives in Vedvyaspuri TPnagar. Vikas Kumar, a retired soldier working with Deepak, resident of Kapsad Sardhana, who currently resides in Sheelkunj Pallavapuram. Deepak and Vikas are associated with an ayurveda company, in which after purchasing the company’s products, they make members below themselves through chains.
Presented evidence after reaching the police station
It is alleged that Deepak demanded twenty lakh rupees from his partner Vikas Kumar. Deepak threatened him with dire consequences if Vikas refused to pay Rs 20 lakh. Due to fear, Vikas reached the Pallavapuram police station and presented evidence stating the case. After which the police started looking for Deepak. SHO Dinesh Pratap Singh says that on Thursday night, the police team nabbed Deepak from near TP Nagar Highway-58 on information.
