Auraiya. A student injured in the beating of a teacher of Adarsh Inter College in Achhalda town died in an ambulance before treatment at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences Saifai on Sunday morning. The relatives were getting treatment in private hospitals of Auraiya and Etawah since 19 days. By registering a case on the orders of the SP, the police has started the search for the accused teacher.
Nikhit Kumar, 15-year-old son of Raju Dohre, resident of Vaisholi village of Achhalda, was a student of class X in Adarsh Inter College. On September 7, during a test in the school, Ashwani Singh, a social subject teacher, had beaten him mercilessly. The relatives were informed when the condition worsened. On behalf of the college administration, the student was assured to get treatment and the teacher gave the help of 40 thousand rupees.
The student got treatment in private hospitals of Auraiya and Etawah but there was no improvement. On reaching the police station on Sunday, the relative accused the teacher of abusing her for demanding financial help. Complained to the SP for not hearing in the police station. Along with the registration of the case on the orders of the SP, Nikhit’s medical examination was done at the Community Health Center.
Amar Deep Chaudhary, a doctor in the CHC, informed Nikhit about difficulty in breathing and said that there were injury marks in the body. Seeing his condition critical, he was referred to Saifai University Hospital of Medical Sciences. Relatives reached Saifai on Saturday night at around 11 o’clock in an ambulance.
The relatives allege that Nikhit was not admitted for a long time and he died in the ambulance itself. When the relatives reached the village with the dead body at 10 am on Sunday morning, the classmates also came to the village as soon as they got the information. On information, the police also reached the village. Superintendent of Police Charu Nigam said that after contacting Etawah CMO, post-mortem has been done. Further action will be taken after the report is received. Three teams have been formed to nab the accused teacher.
