Lucknow. The negligence of a doctor and medical store operator took the life of a six-year-old. Reyansh alias Ayan Jaiswal, the six-year-old son of Gaurav Jaiswal, a resident of Saraswatipuram Colony located near PGI, got sick on August 29 after getting fever.
The child from the troubled home reached Navjeevan Child Care Clinic located in Hussainganj and showed it to the clinic operator, Dr. Mukesh Kesarwani. According to family members, Dr. Mukesh Kesarwani wrote an injection in Reyansh stating the symptoms of malaria. The injection was also not found at the nearby medical store. Gaurav Jaiswal told this by visiting the clinic. The clinic staff asked the ‘Shri Om’ medical store to take the injection.

Seeing the child’s condition becoming critical, the family took him to Medanta Hospital. Reyansh died on Monday morning after being admitted for about six days.
After the death of the son, the family members are in a bad condition. When Reyansh’s uncle Anuj Jaiswal complained about the matter to the police officials, there was no hearing. Hussainganj police did not register the FIR and threw it. Now the family has appealed to the Drug Inspector for action.
On the matter, Dr. Mukesh Kesarwani says that he had written syrup, not injection. The medical store person says that injection is written not syrup. Both are blaming each other but due to their carelessness a 6 year old innocent lost his life.
The family members were not harassed, they were given correct information. The matter was related to the doctor and the medical store, because of this, on the instructions of the higher officials, the family members have been asked to complain to the drug department.
