Lucknow. Former MLA Mukhtar Ansari’s troubles are not decreasing. On Thursday, the bail application of his son MLA Abbas Ansari was rejected. The special sessions court of MP-MLA has rejected the anticipatory bail application of accused Abbas Ansari in the case of transferring the license of arms issued from Lucknow in the year 2012 to New Delhi’s address without giving any notice.
Special Judge Harbansh Narayan in his order said that there are seven criminal cases registered against the accused. An arrest warrant is also issued in this case. Therefore, the application is not acceptable in such circumstances. On July 14, the Special Magistrate Court of MP-MLA had ordered the issuance of an arrest warrant against the accused Abbas Ansari in this case.
Abbas Ansari, who was elected MLA from Mau Sadar, is the son of former MLA Mukhtar Ansari. On October 12, 2019, the FIR of this case was lodged by Inspector-in-Charge Ashok Kumar Singh in Thana Mahanagar. During the investigation, the police had recovered two rifles, three 12 bore guns, one revolver and one pistol along with four thousand 431 cartridges and magazines of different bores. On December 24, 2020, a charge sheet was filed against the accused Abbas Ansari under sections 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the IPC as well as section 30 of the Arms Act.
The bail application of the accused in the case of making a fake deed of land rejected: In-charge Judge Prashant Mishra has prima facie termed its offense as serious.
According to public prosecutor Arun Pandey, the accused is a witness to this fake denomination. This land was sold to Hitech Green City. After this the company sold it to many others. On September 21, 2021, its FIR was lodged by Shanti Devi at the police station Nagaram.
