On the report of the ADCP, the police commissioner suspended Inspector Devendra Vikram Singh. The role of ACP Cantt has also been described as suspicious in this case. Action can also be taken against the ACP and other policemen. After this investigation, a murder case will be registered in this case.
Inspectors were busy telling the murder to be an accident
Stand operator Chandan Mishra used to ask for recovery from auto driver Subhash Chandra Pal, resident of Loni Katra in Barabanki. Subhash kept refusing to pay the recovery. On this, on Sunday night, he was brutally killed with sandalwood along with his companions. He was also attacked on the head with a stone. Inspector Devendra Vikram Singh refused to consider it a murder and was trying to convince the family members that someone had thrown a stone on the glass of the tempo. He died because of that. He had also written a report of culpable homicide not by writing a case of murder. DCP East Prachi Singh said that the role of Devendra has been found suspicious in the investigation. For this he has been suspended. On the other hand, a police officer said that the role of ACP Cantt in this case is also being investigated.
FIR was lodged against the driver who did not pay the recovery
On the night of June 1, Subhash was going home with an auto. Furious over not getting the recovery, Chandan Mishra stopped Subhash and beat him up. On information about this, the PGI police who reached there beat him up. While protesting, Subhash also clashed with Chandan. Taking unilateral action, the PGI police, who reached the information of the quarrel, filed a case against Subhash by taking the complaint of Chandan Mishra. Then there was Inspector Dharampal Singh. According to Subhash’s brother Ravi Pratap Pal, after being released on bail, Chandan Mishra threatened again. He had said that if I want to run auto in PGI then I will have to pay Rs. Subhash had also told this to brother Ravi.
The accused ran off the mobile, three teams were in search
Acting Inspector Devendra Singh said that raids are on in search of Chandan Mishra. His mobile phone has been switched off since the incident. The house has also been raided. From where information about sandalwood could not be found. He said that along with Chandan, the details of other people involved in the operation of the stand are being collected.
