Saharanpur. NIA Raid In Deoband The raids of UP ATS and NIA are continuing in Deoband of Saharanpur. On Sunday morning, once again the team of NIA reached Deoband and detained a suspicious youth, Farooq. This raid has been done on the information of his affiliation with ISIS. The arrested youth is said to be a student of a madrasa in Deoband. He is a resident of Karnataka. From whom the documents like Aadhar card, driving license etc. have been found.
Was taking instructions from mentors
It is said that Farooq was constantly taking directions from his masters by joining the WhatsApp group of the terrorist organization ISIS. The NIA team reached Deoband at around 4 am on Sunday morning and raided a madrasa and took a youth into custody. Some documents have also been found by the NIA team from Bangalore student Farooq, which has been confiscated.
Secret location interrogation
The youth caught at a secret place is being interrogated. Deoband’s name is once again in discussions due to this action of NIA before Independence Day. The local police say that the NIA has not given them any information in this regard so far.
NIA’s knock in Deoband is not new
The team of ATS and NIA keeps knocking in Deoband. On March 13, a youth named Inamulhaq was arrested by the UP ATS from a hostel in Deoband. From which it was revealed during interrogation that he is involved in anti-national activities and is associated with Lashkar terrorists. On June 23, the NIA raided Deoband and detained a Rohingya student, Mujibullah, who was receiving Islamic education from Madrasa Zakaria. The team took him with them after he was produced in the court.
