New Delhi. The Indian cricket team has to play in the last match of the three-match ODI series against England on Sunday. India won the first match of the series by a huge margin of 10 wickets while in the second match, England won by 100 runs to level 1-1. The deciding match of the series will decide whose series will be. Former Indian bowler RP Singh is not happy with Rohit’s captaincy, he has refused to leave Suryakumar Yadav’s batting order.
RP said, “I do not agree with this. Suryakumar Yadav should come to bat at number four. Because if you look at the things that happened before this, Virat changed his batting order a lot. Kohli for the team made his name batting at number three but on several occasions he sent KL Rahul to play at this spot.”
While praising Virat Kohli, he gave the example of leaving his place for other players. Well, the decision to change the batting order is made by the coach more than the captain. Rahul Dravid has tried Rishabh Pant several times in ODIs batting at number three. At the same time, Virat and former coach Ravi Shastri also tried him in the same sequence in the World Cup 2019.
“If Joe is someone in your team who is all set, then he should let you bat at his favorite spot. Even if people say that if a batsman is good, you can put him in any order. Send it he will bat. But in my opinion it matters because he would have been ready to play in this one batting order. Well there are many other things that matter like when the batsman is stepping on the field So the position of the ball, that adds to their game.”
