Lucknow. The Bundelkhand Expressway, which opens new avenues of development and employment for Bundelkhand of Uttar Pradesh, is ready. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch it today at around 12 noon and will add another link in the journey of development of Bundeli Dhara.
Preparations have been completed for the inauguration ceremony of 296 km long expressway from Gonda village in Bharatkup in Chitrakoot to Kudrail in Etawah near Catheri toll plaza in Jalaun. The expressway has been decorated in a grand manner within a radius of five kilometres. Many central and state government ministers including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak will be present.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave Delhi in a special plane and reach the Air Force Airport in Kanpur at 10:30 am. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will welcome him here. From Kanpur at 10:35 am, the three people will reach the Cathari toll plaza in Jalaun by helicopter at 11.20 am, where seven helipads have been built on the expressway.
The Prime Minister will be in the launch program from 11:30 to 12:45 pm. He will spend a total of one and a half hours in Jalaun. During this, along with dedicating the expressway, he will plant trees giving the message of environmental protection. He will also address a public meeting here. Departure from Jalaun at 1.00 pm and reach Kanpur at 1:45 pm. He will leave for Delhi by special plane at 1:50.
To give a grand look to the inauguration ceremony, the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA) has completed preparations. The event is expected to have a crowd of more than one lakh people. Separate blocks have been prepared to accommodate everyone in an orderly manner. It has already been decided who will sit in which block. On the other hand, top officials including Divisional Commissioner Ajay Shankar Pandey and DM Chandni Singh finalized the arrangements on Friday regarding the proposed program of PM Modi.
PM Modi tweeted: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted and said that July 16 is a special day for my sisters and brothers of Bundelkhand region. Bundelkhand Expressway will be inaugurated in a program in Jalaun district. The project will boost the local economy and connectivity.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in another tweet that the state-of-the-art Bundelkhand Expressway passes through seven districts. This will greatly benefit the local economy. There will be great industrial development in this area and this will bring more opportunities for the local youth.
